How much money does flexilubes really save?

Saving money with what you eat is one of the simplest ways to save. In our last post we looked at the importance of eating health on a budget. Now we will focus more on the cost of eat lunch when you work in an office.

Most offices allows for people to bring lunch but the office culture might favor eating out. Many offices have kitchens with microwaves that go unused by a majority of employees every day because eating out is popular - not just eating out but also ordering delivery for lunch. While you might enjoy the luxury of eating out for lunch, this accounts for a pretty large expense in time.

Just how much does it cost to eat out at lunch? Many restaurants have lunch menus with more reasonable prices for the same food served at dinner but still costs more than you would spend if you brought food from home. Take the average lunch bill from a sit-down restaurant. The meal itself might cost only five or six dollar but once you add in a drink, tax, and tip the total cost is closer to the estimated $10.33 lunch bill.

If you eat out once or twice a week, you've spent over $1000 on lunch. If you are more like the average American, you spent close to $2500! Usually when people try to tell you how you can save money it takes a huge initial investment such as "This water heater will pay foritself in 5 months!" or "This hybrid car gets 45mpg" Now lets say you followed the flexilube plan every workday for a year, you could have saved $1775 without buying a new anything!

Just to see how flexilubes stack up to other lunch choices we calculated the average cost of some common lunch options and compared the overall saving by bringing your own lunch to work.
